Sets And Reps For The V-Cut Abs Workout
A lot of people will tell you to train your abs with high reps. Indeed abs are small muscles, but they are still muscle. Which means, you need to hit them moderate heavy in order to make them grow. This is why we added exercises with weight, but if you're beginner, you might not need to add extra weights.
We will aim for 4 sets for each exercise, which is great to put enough stress on your abs to get them ripped. Since abs are small muscles, they recover quickly between each set, so we will add between 30-45 sec between each set of rest and 1:30-2 minutes between each exercises.
Your Abs Grow While You Rest
You probably already know that your muscles grow while you rest. In fact, each muscle requires 48 hour to recover from intense workout
You will often hear the broscience saying that you can train abs every day and that's called overtraining; don't listen to it and rest your abs!
Warm Up Your Abs
The best way to warm up your abs, is to start an abs exercise with no weights or some dynamic streching in your workout. It will increase the blood flow into your muscles and also prevents injuries.
*Note: During this workout you should not focus on rushing the movements. You will have to control the weight from the beginning to the end of the movement; with good form.*
